Parks on the Air (POTA) is growing globally to become the largest On the Air program in Amateur Radio. There are more members world-wide than all other OTA programs combined with almost 60,000 members around the world and parks in 150 plus countries.
Presented by James, KB2FMH, one of the POTA Administrators.
James became a licensed Amatuer in 1985 and is an avid DXer, casual Contester and producer of many special event operations - most notably the International Cooperative World Autism Awareness Week annual event which last had operators in 31 countries in 2024. He has been on DXpeditions from the North Bering Sea to the South Pacific Ocean and all have additionally been POTA Activations making thousands of people happy around the world.
He has been active in the Parks on the Air (POTA) program since its inception in 2017 and is currently an administrator in the capacity of technical support, mapping and logging, and, he is the Global DXpedition Liaison working with the DX community to bring qualifying rare expeditions to the POTA program.
